About Masjid
“Taqwa Palace” a multistoried building located at west Bhurulia ward no. 25 under Gazipur City Corporation. About 550sq.ft. in the basement area of the building was allocated for prayer where 75-80 persons can perform their 5 times prayer(salat) everyday. During the period of COVID-19 all over the world limited the number of worshipers to attend the mosque/masjid. So a huge number of worshipers were attended to this basement prayer place and instantly needed to arrange JUMA’A prayer on Friday.
Now a days, specially on Friday the whole basement area (about 3000sq.ft.) even other mosques in around are overfilled and many people pray on roads outside of the mosques.
Such a situation “a slave of ALLAH”(SW) purchased about 1800sq.ft. land west side of the present prayer place of the basement and donated to build a new mosque/masjid there (May Allah (sw) give him the best rewards, AMEEN). With the discussion and suggestion of “ULAMA”, construction work of a 5(five) storied Masjid building have been started on 15th June 2023 giving the name “MASJID UT TAQWA”. In addition, 550sq.ft. of the basement prayer place will be attached to the ground floor of the new masjid building
Estimated cost: Though the market price of construction materials are not stable, however, the estimated construction cost is about 1,70,00,000/(seventeen million )taka.
An Appeal
The Masjid has no fixed income source of itself. Donation of the believer of ALLAH(sw) is the only earning source of the Masjid.
92%-95% of the Worshipers of this Masjid are students of DUET (Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology) admission coaching, job preparation and other study courses, rest 5%-8% are the permanent residents of around the Masjid. So it is very difficult to meet up the construction cost of the Masjid by the surrounding collections. Thus, it is humble and cordial request to all Muslim brothers and sisters of every corner in local and abroad to extend their helping hands towards this noble mission.
“Allah Sobhanahu Wataala will make a house in ZANNAH for each one instead of these great deeds, INSHAALLAH”.
